Whitewater Rafting: Sunday, July 3rd 2005
Coordinator: Audrey Sindac
On Sunday, July 3rd, brave sisters of Kappa Phi Lambda ventured out to Kittatinny to go white water rafting on the Delaware River. What an adventure it was and a trial for patience as well! The sisters bonded in the
two hour car ride to Kittatinny, playing road games and singing off-tune songs on the radio. When they finally arrived, they still had to wait in line for
another hour to go rafting. Four straight hours of rowing proved to be a tiring feat for the Kappa sisters! Though they are tough, they're still human.
Even so, the whole adventure was definitely an amazing bonding experience - from tedious rowing, to being locked out of Audrey's car, to riding a
cop car to Perkins, the adventure never stops! Coordinator Audrey Sindac commented, "As a chapter we went through a lot to decide on a final date -- and only 4 of us ended up going! It was a crazy day, but I truly thank Isah, Tracy, and Joyce for being such great sports."
